Deal or No Deal Slingo
Just when you thought slingo couldn’t get any better, we’ve only gone and mixed it with everyone’s favourite TV show, Deal or No Deal! Beat the banker at Spin Genie and you could walk away with £100,000 CASH…
Deal or No Deal Slingo does exactly what it says on the tin – combining the popular social game of slingo with the infamous concept of the Deal or No Deal TV gameshow, all whilst allowing you to play for real cash prizes. Just as in our Slingo Riches game, you’ll be playing on a 5x5 bingo-style grid, but this time it’s filled with Deal or No Deal-style numbered boxes, with possible prize values listed from low to high on either side. In this version of the game, you'll be opening boxes to eliminate prizes and creating slingos to unlock the Banker's Offer and increase your prize value multiplier.
How To Play
Whether or not you’ve already played slingo or shouted at Deal or No Deal on the telly, this online game will be super easy to get the hang of. The first thing to do is set your stake using the -/+ buttons on the stake meter to the bottom left of your screen. You’ll then be presented with 26 boxes, which have all been allocated a prize value at random, and you’ll need to pick your lucky box. The box you choose is put aside and the remaining 25 boxes fill the spaces on the 5x5 Slingo grid.
Next up, you have 10 spins! Each spin places 5 numbers/symbols in the reel beneath the grid and any corresponding boxes in the column above are opened to reveal their prize value, which is then eliminated from the game. A slingo is created by opening 5 adjacent boxes (vertically, horizontally or diagonally) and each slingo moves you up the prize multiplier bar. The Banker’s Offer is unlocked once you’ve created 4 slingos; from 5-10 slingos your prize value multiplier increases by 1 each time, ranging from x2-x7, and multiplies the value of any remaining prize values. If you hit a Full House, you’ll win the prize in your box multiplied x20!
As well as numbers, the following symbols can also land on your reel after a spin:
- Jokers – wild symbols that can be used to open any box in the column they appear
- Super Jokers – wild symbols that can be used to open any box in the whole grid
- Free Spin – awards you an additional spin at the end of the game
- Devil – blocks potential matches on the grid
Once your initial 10 spins are completed, you can either carry on playing with accumulated Free Spins or by buying additional spins. The cost of additional spins is displayed on the spin button each time.
Once you’ve created 4 slingos, the banker will make you an offer based on the prize values remaining in the game. You can then choose to:
- Deal = take the banker’s offer and end the game
- No Deal = open your box and collect the value inside
- Spin = continue the game
If you choose to keep spinning, the banker will make you a further offer, again based on the remaining prize values in the game, after each spin.
